Our History

​​Founded in 1986, Warming Trends, Inc. was created to meet the growing needs of Northern California families seeking reliable, full-service wood stove solutions. Before opening the storefront, co-founder Eric Miller, known throughout the region as “Wood Stove Smythe”, built a reputation for hands-on service, quality installations, and honest craftsmanship.

From these roots, Warming Trends, Inc. has evolved into a leading fireplace destination in the North Bay. Our knowledgeable team, professional installers, and long-standing commitment to customer satisfaction continue to define who we are today.
